Family Heirloom Restoration

Video Process

A family couple was gifted this piece of wood with a custom painting on it for their wedding gift from June 1979. Over the years it has faded, and the wood has dried up.

We touched up all the paint, sanded down the wood to a smooth finish, popped the grain, epoxied over the front side of the piece, used our deep pour epoxy to fill the knot holes, and put a final wax seal coat on the piece.

It is ready to head back to its home and last for many more years!
